I thought I'd reviewed this sooner.... They have the most AMAZING Brisket quesadillas and their salsas are awesome! The owner is very nice and knowledgeable. It is obvious that he is passionate about what he does. The employees are always polite and helpful. It would be a shame to pass up this place. *Closed on Sundays*

I discovered this place at the Christmas in the South event, and let me tell you—I was blown away from the get-go! I’m not gonna lie, I’ve never been big on tamales, but their brisket quesadilla? Oh my gosh, it’s fantastic! It’s got the perfect bite—super tender brisket, loads of cheesy goodness, and just the right size. I was seriously impressed! And their chicken tacos? Talk about a game-changer! I didn’t know tacos with so few ingredients could pack this much flavor. Whatever they’re doing to season or marinate that chicken, it’s pure genius. It’s simple, but it’s so, so good. Now, let’s chat about the street corn—wowza! I’ve never tasted street corn this amazing in my life. It’s creamy, smoky, and just the right kind of spicy. I’m already plotting to order a whole pan for my next get-together because it’s guaranteed to be the star of the show! Their sauces are all homemade and seriously awesome. The green salsa and medium red one? Love them! They’ve got the perfect kick—nothing too crazy, just enough to make you smile. The customer service? Absolutely fantastic! Every time I walk in or call to place an order, they’re all smiles, super chatty, and just so nice. It’s that kind of vibe that makes you feel right at home. And the prices? Amazing! So reasonable for food this good. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, what are you waiting for? Go, go, go—you’ll thank me later!

Greatly locally owned tamale shop in East Alabama. Vegetarian options available which is always great to see. Go pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

So glad I stumbled upon this place! The tamales are the best ever. I don't say that lightly. I've had tamales all over the country. Truly authentic. I can't wait to try every thing they have. The salsas are fantastic. Garden fresh flavor. The owner is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. My new favorite place. I should have got more. Next time I'm getting a dozen! Must try.

Chef thank you for the delicious tamale recipes. The brisket tamale with spicy sauce was very good so I guess actually your grandmother gets the credit? I’ll be looking for you at the Pensacola farmers market again. Urban Cowgill May 2025
